The four areas of psychometrics that Be A Better You uses in workshops and coaching are: behavioural preference (PPA), emotional intelligence (TEIQue), cognitive ability (GIA), and others’ perceptions (360). These are the assessments we use and recommend from Thomas International.
PPA: Personal Profile Analysis: provides an accurate insight into how people behave at work, how they prefer to communicate, what motivates them, what their management style is, as well as their behavioural strengths and limitations.
GIA: General Intelligence Assessment: (Not IQ) GIA measures a person’s mental horsepower and gives you a prediction of their potential to grasp a new role or respond to training by answering questions such as – can they think on their feet? Could they be a high flyer? Are they problem solvers?
TEIQue: Trait Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire: TEIQue tells you how well your people understand their emotions, react to pressure, and manage relationships. Emotional intelligence is a key indicator for success and enhancing it gives your people the edge they need to perform in today’s complex business environment.
360: Feedback for an individual collated from his/her manager, peers, team-members, clients. 360 provides an objective framework for identifying performance gaps, developing self-awareness, confidence and motivation – and understanding how to improve personal effectiveness.
